Integrated Management System at Dussmann

Integrated management system

Quality doesn’t happen by chance

Dussmann has an integrated management system that ensures standardized implementation of organizational aspects relating to quality, occupational safety and health, the environment, and energy.

In this context, integrated means more than just that all of the requirements that apply to the company are handled at once. It also means these aspects interlock and work together.

Our management system covers the entire organization and is an integral part of our day-to-day business.

Key elements of our management system include setting strategic objectives to improve our performance in terms of quality, occupational safety and health, the environment, and energy, clear responsibilities to fulfill our duties, standardized corporate processes, testing, measurement, and analysis routines to monitor process performance and outcomes, internal audits, and processes aimed at continuous improvement and further development across all relevant aspects of the management system.

Our integrated management system stands for the following:

  • Planned and uniform corporate processes for all services

  • Proper operating procedures in our dealings with customers, suppliers, subcontractor and employees
  • Legally compliant organization of our business processes

  • Consistent consideration of the relevant ecological, social and economic sustainability aspects in all our activities

  • Continuous improvement in processes, services, and products as well as our energy and environmental performance and and occupational health and safety services
  • Compliant documentation of all services performed

Gold EcoVadis rating

Dussmann Service Deutschland GmbH has received the Gold rating from prominent rating agency EcoVadis for its sustainability activities. That puts us in the top five percent of companies rated by EcoVadis worldwide.

The EcoVadis rating is based on 21 relevant sustainability criteria, which help to rank companies according to how well they incorporate and document sustainability aspects within their supply chains and the quality of those aspects. The criteria are grouped into four themes crucial to assessing a company’s sustainability performance: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Detailed company-specific documentation must be provided for each of these areas.

Even with this excellent rating, which puts Dussmann Service Deutschland GmbH among the top players in the industry, we will be using the result and the potential it highlights to make further improvements in our sustainability performance.
